The Château de l'Orangerie.

The origin of wich, according to a property title from the archives, goes back to 1790, has been owned by the same family since that date.

The estate, formely named "Palay", has been renamed so as to carry on the memory of a family tradition wich preserved oranges trees in a Château ( wing ) during winter months.

1871 saw Théodore Icard becoming Mayor of Sauveterre-de-Guyenne and member of the Conseil Général.

Today, Jean-Christophe Icard, great-grandson of Théodore Icard, allows the estate to enter in the 3rd millenium with serenity and dynamism.
